The group's Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm's operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.
BlackRock's Technology & Enterprise Service Group aims to provide BlackRock Employees with robust technology infrastructure and strategic workplace solutions to deliver a consistent employee experience around the world, while handling information security and data integrity. Our hybrid work model
BlackRock's hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 3 days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week; some business groups may require more time in the office due to their roles and responsibilities. Beginning in September, all employees will shift to at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. We remain focused on increasing the impactful moments that arise when we work together in person - aligned with our commitment to performance and innovation. As a new joiner, you can count on this hybrid model to accelerate your learning and onboarding experience here at BlackRock.

About you
- Independent thinker capable of owning and leading a project from concept to delivery.
- Passionate about constant learning
- Interpersonal skill to work across teams to understand platform, users and developer's needs.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical users
- Proficient in python spark Development.
• Good Understanding of Spark Clusters and its tuning
• Experience in Sqoop, Hive, Python, R , HDFS & Yarn Management
• Should have experience of handling time series data and SCD Loads
• Experience on SnowFlake cloud ( SnowPipe, Snowsql, Task)
• Working Experience on Datalake projects. It includes (Understanding of ingestion, Curation distribution Frameworks)
• Good Understanding of DWH/ETL/ELT concepts
• Experience on Azure Cloud, CI/CD pipelines , Build and Release processes .
• Hands on Experience on Azure Devops and Git hub
• Should work on any of Scheduling tool( Ctr-M, TWS,Rundeck, Oozie
