  • Key Responsibilities
  • Creation of Business Requirements & Solution Design documents, including Process definition & mapping, Data analysis, RAID definition, Test Scenarios.
  • Facilitation of workshops & meetings with stakeholders.
  • Sourcing of new data feeds from upstream providers.
  • Supports project manager in delivery of project - e.g., may need to cover in periods of absence.
  • Supports System Analysts in implementation of solutions, may need to get "hands on" depending on project needs.
  • Supports the Testing Team in Quality Assurance of solutions & again may need to be directly involved as necessary.
  • Supports the Systems Team who run the solutions in Production & may need to be directly involved to resolve urgent issues.
  • Supports the Solutions Lead & Change Lead on ad hoc, urgent requests from senior stakeholders.
  • Develops & drives Continuous Improvement activities for the benefit of the Department.
  • Keeps their skills (technical, business & professional) current based on the changing demands of the team & projects.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow Business Analysts, contractors & other members of the immediate Change Team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • Work experience as a Senior Business Analyst with previous Financial Services project experience, ideally in Regulatory Reporting covering prudential and statistical reporting (e.g., FinRep, CoRep, Liquidity reporting, AnaCredit etc).
  • 5 to 7+ years of relevant work experience is a bonus, accredited accountant preferable.
  • Experience of delivering solutions onto Regulatory Reporting platforms, Axiom SL / Adenza preferred, but others such as WKFS an advantage.
  • Further skills or equivalents such as SQL, Excel Data Analysis, Jira, Visio, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite / SharePoint / Power Automate and Alteryx.
