Overview
(12580)Responsible for definition, planning and execution of testing efforts. Also may supervise and provide technical guidance to assigned project teams. Reports directly to Team Manager (Team Leader).Analyzes systems requirements. Develops test plans and test scripts. Participates in and/or conducts QA Reviews. Performs testing activities based upon test plans and scripts. Identifies and documents software and systems defects. Supports product migrations through all systems environments. Provides support to technical and managerial staff with regard to QA activities. May interact directly with clients regarding project activities. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Associates will be evaluated, in part, based on performance of each essential function. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline is preferred, an advanced degree is a plus, along with at least 3-7 years of experience in a systems quality environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Requires specific knowledge of QA testing, change management and test case generation techniques. Knowledge of securities industry and / or related financial services experience. Strong planning and project organization skills. Negotiation, decision making, problem solving, influencing skills. Broad knowledge of the firm and key functions. Strong judgment and leadership skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high pressure, high volume environment. Effectively use Microsoft Office applications and PC proficiency in Windows-based programs.
