The Role
As an Infrastructure Support Analyst, you will be focused on delivering a consistent client experience for the App Engine platform services. You will handle user queries, requests, issues, and incidents related to the AE platforms across all regions. Also, you will be responsible for the Platform hygiene, hardening and stability. You'll handle application migration from legacy platforms to Green Field Infrastructure (onboarding). Our team also provides L2/L3 support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform infrastructure cluster build using nomad and Kubernetes for applications to deploy and manage their apps in Docker containerized environment.
  • Maintain the platform infrastructure GREEN by updating the Operating system packages via patching, updating the platform components / binaries to latest and stable version.
  • Automation wherever required using python, shell, ansible, puppet, jQuery.
  • Be the primary contact for clients who are consuming the infrastructure and assist them on their deployments, entitlements, route management, monitoring and other application issues etc.
  • Exposure to CICD pipeline.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana, Sysdig, Splunk or other tools.
  • Exposure control & service discovery planes like consul, proxies like envoy, nginx, Apache, F5 load balancer etc., DNS management.
  • Exposure Networking, Storage, Cloud technologies.
  • Handle incidents and external /internal clients.
  • Incident management, problem management, vulnerability management.
  • Fully own escalated issues/ projects from inception to resolution to ensure resolution times meet client expectations.
  • Knowledge capture and transfer, assisting others in automation, issues, cluster build etc.
  • Should develop strong, trusting, working relationship with clients and ready to work in a 24/7 production support model.
