Join our Risk Management Group in a role that will allow you to grow your skills and experience in the Credit Division.

You will join the team as an Analyst in Gurugram as an extension of our Sydney Office Credit Team, in supporting the Equity Derivatives and Trading ("EDT") business with the primary area of focus being credit assessment, monitoring and reporting of the Undisclosed Agency Lending Program ("UAP"). Credit assessment includes the rating of underlying lenders on approved probability of default ("PD") and loss given default ("LGD") templates , as well as documentation of key terms on Macquarie's internal legal documentation system.

You will work closely and collaboratively to onboard new underlying lenders within Macquarie's internal systems and managing and monitoring their credit quality and legal hierarchies. Whilst primary responsibilities include accurately rating underlying lenders under the UAP, you will have first-hand experience of working with senior stakeholders and developing your knowledge of Equity Derivatives. The role will also involve preparing periodic reports that will be shared with the Head of the EDT Business.

You will bring previous experience of up to 3 years post MBA/CA qualification, ideally in a credit analysis role, with solid ability to understand risk, interpret financial statements and navigate commercial outcomes. If you have a relevant professional qualification like CFA or FRM and have familiarity with analysis of Financial Institutions, it will be a plus but not a necessity. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with derivatives, stock loans/repos , supporting
documentation and understanding of regulated and unregulated Funds.
This role will suit you if you are passionate, driven, independent and have a growth mindset with a desire to learn. If you are a good communicator, strong numerical and analytical skills, love working with multiple stakeholders and can work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and open to work in shifts, then we would love to hear from you.
