Job Description Summary

The Support Specialist is a subject matter expert in FactSet’s Analytics suite, tasked with retaining the analytics business by delivering on high-value projects and engagements. Support Specialist’s primary focus is on retaining our Analytics users. They are primarily responsible for resolving client requests on advanced analytics projects, serving as main lines of contact for select analytics users and clients, acting as analytics escalation, and a key contributor to internal analytics training. Additional project-based engagements may include implementations, solutions optimization, and other time and knowledge intensive projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for retaining and expanding the Analytics book of business
  • Act as technical subject matter expert in our solutions and develop in-depth knowledge of our product suite
  • Execute solutions optimizations & engineering of client's analytics workflows
  • Execution on project-based engagements such as analytics implementations per internal or external requirements Improving client health by monitoring usage, understanding account strategy, contributing to business planning & execution
  • Collaborating, training, and supporting internal stakeholders, including Client Consulting, Product Development, and Sales
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance industry, current market trends and economic factors in order to maintain competitive edge and form client solutions strategies

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2-3 years of relevant experiences 
  • Data-savvy, technical acumen and analytical problem-solving
  • Knowledge of FactSet Analytics Solutions an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility/Adaptability/Managing Multiple Priorities
  • Enthusiasm, can-do attitude, and a strong sense of initiative
  • Knowledge of financial industry preferred - CFA chartered holder is an advantage
  • Proficiency with, or a desire to learn Python
