Description of the Organization ::
Vallum Capital, started in Year 2010, is a SEBI Registered Portfolio Management Service. Vallum invests in Indian Public Equities Market with a Growth at Reasonable Price (GARP) Framework. The firm is looking for highly passionate Research Interns to joining its Work from Home (WFH) program. The candidate can be based in any part of India and might be considered for full time Research Associate position with the firm on successful completion of Internship.
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting Analyst and fund management team in data collection and data organization.
- Reading and analyzing financial filings to gain a sense of the Business Model (IPO Documents, Annual Reports, Quarterly Earnings Transcripts, Investor Presentations)
- Building and updating industry domain knowledge pertaining to portfolio companies Industry Analysis
- Building Financial Models and Spreadsheets for mapping the competitive landscape of the Industry and projecting future financials of potential investment candidates
Requirements
Candidate should have at least one of the following educational qualifications
a) CFA/CFA Level 2 qualified
OR
b) Bachelors and Master's degree in accounting/economics
c) Demonstrable passion of Equity Research/Investing.
d) Candidates with prior internship experiences are preferred
Candidate should have the ability to work hard and have the ability to absorb and synthesize new information quickly.
Microsoft office skills (Excel, PPT) are must.
