Hallmark Capital Management, a $2.0 billion, RIA with offices in New Jersey, New York and Florida is meeting equity analyst candidates to join our portfolio management staff. Our investment team manages separate accounts for individual and institutional investors. Internally-managed strategies include growth, value and core disciplines. Security selection focuses on fundamental analysis with strong price discipline.

Interested candidates should be intellectually curious, self-motivating and possess a strong work ethic. Candidates must be a collaborative and collegial teammate.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform financial and valuation analysis of equity holdings, purchase and sale candidates

• Evaluate investment ideas in support of team members

• Develop stock-screening tools in accordance with long-standing philosophy

• Monitor assigned portfolios for adherence to client guidelines

• Support our CFP wealth adviser team by explaining our philosophy, strategy and investments to current and prospective clients

Skills and experience preferred:

• Three-to-five years relevant investment experience

• Proficiency in financial and valuation analysis

• Excel skills

• Bachelor’s degree

• CFA charter or candidate

• Series 65 registration

Experience with Black Diamond, FactSet and Morningstar Direct is welcome
