We Offer
This role will be supporting Client Onboarding Services function for APAC Private Baking business. Your responsibilities include:
  • Performing the Client On-Boarding support activities including but not limited to
  • Data Capture and validation into the systems
  • Documentation checks
  • Background checks using the approved databases.
  • Uphold the highest standards of control, always keeping data integrity in mind while carrying out day-to-day tasks.
  • Have up to date knowledge on policies, processes and procedures of the bank from time to time including the KYC requirements.
  • Report risks and issues to the management on timely basis.
  • Provide support on ad-hoc activities or newly allocated tasks as and when assigned by the management.
  • Coordinating with on-shore and off-shore processing teams for BAU as well as ad-hoc tasks/ projects from time to time.
  • Seek to maintain relevant procedural documentation and ensure procedures are updated on a timely basis.

Work within the Client Onboarding Services (COBS) team in APAC Business Processing Services (BPS) which is a one stop shop that supports Front Office with the relationship onboarding process.

You Offer

You are expected to possess the below skills
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in KYC/CDD documentation experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management
  • Proficient in general KYC requirements. Knowledge of in Asia specific (MAS, HKMA and/or AUSTRAC) requirements will be an advantage
  • Acquired relevant academic qualifications: University Graduate or post graduate degree with Bachelor or masters of Law/ Accounting / Finance / Business / Economics or Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, CWA, CS.
  • Proactive and self-starter with can-do attitude. Exhibit outstanding analytical ability, problem solving skills and can think out of the box.
  • Team-player who is committed to service delivery excellence and always has the bank and clients' best interests in mind
  • Demonstrate the capability to build and maintain positive relationships at all level with key internal clients including business, operations and colleagues in Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills. Possess the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
