Research Analyst/ Senior Analyst/ Lead Analyst- Credit Research- High Yield- US, Europe Market

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting asset management arm of a large insurance/investment/asset management firm in building in-depth credit models, maintaining peripheral coverage of 40+ credits, and generating trade ideas
• Perform credit assessment, due diligence, research analysis on private and public corporates
• Presents investment opinion to investment committee along with onshore analyst; Review of investment research/summary notes, financial models
• Maintaining research coverage for high yield credits across various sectors in the US and Europe
• Exposure across different sectors – be it large European Banks, covering HY bonds in healthcare, cable and travel & leisure sector etc
• Knowledge on sector specific reports, weekly updates covering performance of actively traded bonds
• Knowledge on bond and bond markets; expertise in senior/mezzanine debt, leverage finance, distressed situations, structured derivatives and capital market issuances (bonds, debentures, money market)

Preferred experience:

• 1 to 9 years of experience in supporting buy-side clients in maintenance of credit coverage
• Strong domain knowledge with ability to make alpha-generating trade ideas
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bloomberg

Education background:

• CFA/FRM
• MBA
• CA
