  • Our team develops back office Foundry & RiskSphere applications providing support to CRO operations & production activities. Activities supported range from Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational risk and Non risk financial management systems.
  • We are looking for a Requirements Engineer for Delivery team on a contract role with extensive hands-on experience in performing data analysis, business analysis, preparing documentation (business engineering standards) with expected benefits, gap analysis, use cases, models (e.g. Business Object Model), current/proposed. Represent business interests in solution designing.
  • This role also involves working on different products such as Equity, Rates, Credit Products, Commodity, and Structured Products and is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to both Credit & Market Risk domain.

Qualifications
  • Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree from recognized institution.
  • Desirable: A Degree in finance or equivalent (CFA, FRM, PRM etc.) would be preferred.
Experience
  • 6 - 8 years of total IT experience.
  • At least 4 years of proven experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis/Requirement gathering in Risk, Finance Domain.
Skills (Mandatory)
  • Background in software design & development
  • Financial services domain knowledge, ideally including risk management.
  • Basic understanding of risks associated with financial products (specifically credit and market risk)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to gather, clarify and apply information transmitted verbally, while exhibiting a genuine interest toward the speaker
  • Ability to produce a variety of business documents that demonstrates command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience of SQL, Unix , Relational DB is required
  • Should have a basic understanding of finance (trade, ledger, dr/cr entries)
Skills (Desirable)
  • Data Modeling
  • Interview and basic survey skills
  • Those with Business Analysis certification (CBAP, ISEB, CCBA) are preferred
  • Risk systems background is advantageous
